Why You Need an Air Purifier
Air purifiers are one of the cheapest ways to invest in your health for the long-term. The benefits include reducing allergy symptoms, odors, and many other harmful particles. Here are some reasons you might want to invest in an air purifier.
Cook Often at Home
You would not expect it but there are very harmful particles that are emitted when cooking on the stove. Most people turn on the fan when cooking on a pan to air out the smell however the danger lies in the heating of foods. The cooking process through ‘heating/burning’ creates harmful gases because of the hot metal being pressed against foods. A simple cooking fan above the stove may not be sufficient in reducing harmful particles. An air purifier would definitely help for any of the gases that the fan cannot ventilate.
Home Lacks Ventilation
Do you live in a large city? Or cannot open the windows often due to heavy pollution outside? Then an air purifier might be perfect for you. Instead of relying on candles and air fresheners to combat odor, try an air purifier. Not only do they help with the smell, but it also filters out the harmful VOC’s (volatile organic compound) that come from disinfectants and common household products.
Owning a Dog or Cat
Having a pet at home can have a huge impact on the quality of air you breathe. Pets have lots of hair and shed skin on a daily basis. Every time you see your dog scratch itself with its foot, there is a large amount of dander being released, which could be the reason for your sneezing. An air purifier in households with pets is quite common so if you don’t have one yet, you probably should start looking.
